[Arthur Andersen] is looking for a merger partner, killed by EnrOn scandal. It turned out that the large companies that used Andersen were not willing to go before shareholders this year with motions to approve Andersen as an auditor... The merger may hinge on the willingness of lawyers for Enron shareholders to settle quickly, and thus set a limit on Andersen's financial liabilities.
