A spiral picture of weblogs (currently 1700 of them) based on linkage data. The spiral view was a great idea. I wonder what might be learned by arranging them on a non-random basis? I'm thinking of some sort of to identify affinity clusters or something... There's a view of the same data.

It would be cool if some academic weenie out there would create some sort of data warehouse of stuff like this, so that various people could experiment with analysis and visualization, without having every person have to run their own spiders, etc.
