Interesting thought from Jon Udell on why accountability ([DanGeer] quote: you can pretty much do anything though if you screw up badly we will find you and make you pay) scales better than [ACLs]. I'm not sure I agree if the implication is that you need no protection, but I could see if as an argument that a "reasonable" amount of ACL security is sufficient, even if not "perfect", with accountability doing the rest. I wonder how Ray Ozzie would respond, given the security-intensive model of GrOove?
