Today's the big meeting regarding the World Trade Center plans (to cut the number of finalists to 2). Current leaseholder [Larry Silverstein] doesn't like any of them.

Tuesday: Apparently a consensus was reached at the meeting. [Matt Higgins] said an announcement on the finalists would be made this afternoon (Tuesday), with a final choice planned later this month. It would be a huge surprise if the finalists aren't Daniel Libeskind and Think. Each of which includes a tower that would be the world's tallest. Ptui.

Yup - they will continue to work with rebuilding officials on their designs, with a winning plan to be selected by the end of the month, officials said.
