Greg Elin has released his [Image Selection] tool. (Update: this became Foto Notes.)
I was just thinking that someone should be cloning Apple's bundled MacOsX Multi Media tools for other platforms, to (a) leverage Apple's GUI research and buzz, and (b) serve the non-Mac users.
