Today is when Mc Donald's starts its WiFi trial. It's run by [CoMeta]. A [McDs] close to me is one of the pilot locations! Will have to try it...

2:48pm - yeehah, it works! Here I am at 724Broadway/6thSt. Very cool. Though when you leave a [McDs] you smell like fries.... will post some pix later.

not many power outlets around, but found one
DNS is kinda slow - the browser typically rejects, then you have to try again and it works.
CNet bandwidth tester says I'm gettin 391kb/sec, bandwidthplace says 362kbps.
Trill Ian works, of course. Even downloaded a patch.
Of course, got hit up for change from a damn nun. Get the Religious Cult people outta here... I bet they'd give the bum's rush to a [Hare Krishna] faster than to an old lady in a wimple. Yo, babe, let's see if you can fly!

But I should never be eating at [McDs]. I hope it pushes down the Star Bucks pricing.
