2:48pm - yeehah, it works! Here I am at 724Broadway/6thSt. Very cool. Though when you leave a [McDs] you smell like fries.... will post some pix later.

• not many power outlets around, but found one

• DNS is kinda slow - the browser typically rejects, then you have to try again and it works.

• CNet bandwidth tester says I'm gettin 391kb/sec, bandwidthplace says 362kbps.

• Trill Ian works, of course. Even downloaded a patch.
