Some thoughts on the War On Iraq:

• It's great that there seems to be so little resistance in Baghdad, because that keeps civilian casualties down.

• Regardless of the process my main concern is how to push Iraq toward becoming an Open Society. (Or more than one.)

• As long as we're taking action without the United Nations, I'd rather see us turn our attention to the IsraelI/Palestin Ian situation, rather than shitholes like SyrIa . I think, among other things, that would buy us some credibility.
