[Gary Johnson] describes the [Covenanting Group] () concept. A "covenanting group" is a group that comes together with some common (though often not explicit) vision of what they want to accomplish with this group, and the willingness to "do what is needed" to make that happen. This came out of distinguishing "group" from "team" (and "jelled team").
