Chris Dent on using archived EMail as Collaboration Ware. I'm surprised he doesn't recommend Wiki For Collaboration Ware as well, which I find a huge improvement over unedit email archives, because Summarizing Is Necessary.
I also think that, even for a group of only 10, having everyone receive every single piece of email is annoying. People tend to tune out, in my experience. RoundUp's "nosy list" model may be a good compromise.
The goals he defines as improve "respect in the workplace" and "help people do their jobs better right now". He doesn't show much of a connection between the software/practice and respect, although he points to increasing openness, which I think is a factor - see Agility Vs Conflict.
