Weird thought Of The Day: have an OSAF OS. After all, a PDA is mostly a PIM. And even if you do other stuff, you could use ZODB as the Data Store for objects and documents. And there are embedded ports of Wx Windows. So why not dump a lots of the cruft that comes in a typical PDA OS? (There's probably a logical contradiction here, since those higher-level apps typically sit on top of a general OS, but I can't help but wonder whether there's a way to strip out a lot of the OS functionality to save space and performance...)
