Noting how 's postings on the Corante blog are also posted to his personal blog, I guess an ideal system needs to be able to treat a node in a thread as having multiple possible -s. (This also applies to -based sites, where a blog posting is also a discussion posting.) Whether someone's software needs to recognize (or even search/find) such duplicate nodes is a messy thought...
