At the Six Apart gathering yesterday, we were discussing z2003-09-09- Presidential Blogging Priorities and z2003-08-18- Governors Presidential Edge and Vote Smart surveys, and concluded:
politicians don't want to be precise/explicit because any clear position has opponents, and
maybe the only solution is for the bloggers to create inferred positions for each Presidential Election candidate, linking to supporting transcripts. That's an interesting idea, but could be like trying to decipher the [Dead Sea Scrolls].
