A [Meta Analysis] published in the [Canadian Medical Association Journal] in 2001 found that the average duration of randomized trials of the drug is 3.3 weeks (studying the use of Ritalin/methylphenidate in treating ), leaving some question about the longer-term efficacy and safety of such treatment.
