I'm using Blog Lines as a server-side Rss Aggregator. I have been using BloGs to track my subscriptions for awhile. Two good things about the switch are: systems with RSS (or a 3rd-party RSS feed) but which don't ping Weblogs Com or the other ping servers are finally brought in (the 2 prime examples being WiKi sites and the Corante blogs run on Web Crimson); and I can group feeds and then get a nice cross-feed view of a category (my current categories are just A, B, and longLists (which I use for a couple high-change wiki sites)). The bad thing is Doc Searls site giving me the whole day's worth every time he makes a change. The break-even is that I thought I'd get a liquid (narrow window friendly) view of Marc Canter's blog, but it's only a slight improvement over a direct view of his site. Oh, and getting a long list shown to me makes me less willing to click to load a full entry into a separate window/tab...
