Dan Gillmor on [Richard Perle], Micro Soft, and [Opinion Laundering] (PR). Short of insisting on a complete Transparent Society for all financial transactions, which doesn't seem realistic, I'm not sure how much is possible here.
And maybe it's beside the point. What we have to all be better at is dissecting the content of comments, not the motivations behind them (Message Vs Messenger).
