notes comments by [Geoff Cohen] and on whether is necessary for effectiveness. I think a shared is necessary. Whether that amounts to is a fair question...

One thing I find useful is that helps make thinking explicit, which can help surface assumptions, and give questioning [Team Member]-s a platform for their concerns...
