Salon Com is pumping up its Washington D C coverage for the Presidential Election coverage. Sounds like a [Hail Mary]: Recent cash injections by investors will pay for the new bureau, Hurley said. Those investments include $200,000 from [Rolling Stone] magazine founder [Jann Wenner] and $600,000 from Adobe Systems co-chairman [John Warnock]. The money has helped Salon stave off more layoffs and focus on its coverage of the elections. The office will be led by Sidney Blumenthal.
