Weird thought : if you represent structured data as tuples, and break up documents into trees of nodes (, ), and discuss the contents of those nodes () and keep copies of history for , and want your own local copy of everything for use and local processing, then do you really need to "share" anything? Will there really be a group of people editing a page together, or will they be negotiating the "definitive" structured-collection-of-nodes across a distributed ? (ok, back away from the pipe...)
