The [Project For Public Spaces] collects "City Commentaries" on Urban Design issues at play in certain great cities. Waiting for that NYC section...
Their "Eleven Principles for Transforming Public Spaces Into Great Community Places" doesn't excite me much...
They also have profiles of a dozen "placemakers" including Jane Jacobs, Ray Oldenburg, James Howard Kunstler, Roberta Brandes Gratz, and others.
