If you want to see the lameness of Journal Ism, watch last night's episode of Jon Stewart, where [Wolf Blitzer] was on. (Being shown again tonight at 7pm [EDT].) (Very crude paraphrase - this show needs transcripts!) [JS]: So, this whole War On Iraq thing was based on pretty bad "intelligence". Shouldn't you media guys have caught on? [WB]: Well, I went over there, and listened to all these briefings, and everyone said they were really sure there were WMD-s. [JS]: So, uh, are guys over there at CNN just kicking themselves over this? What's going to change? [WB]: Well, you try to learn and change. [JS]: (chortles with disbelief, eyes rolling back into head...)
