GooGle has released their Google Desktop Search Engine product. I think I'll wait a little and see if it supports MozIlla email archives, etc.
I wonder what the implications are of this being a Desktop Web Server?
John Battelle sees this as a move towards a Universal Inbox. I guess it needs an Rss Aggregator!
Jon Udell hacks together a Proxy Server to make his own Personal Web Archive which Google Desktop can consume. (Now he just has to figure out how to deal with multiple computers...)
