Jon Udell plays with Mozilla Calendar project and a WebDAV server, and notes some of the trickiness of having multiple updaters to a single calendar (e.g. you have multiple computers), esp if any of them work offline and then re-connect. (Group Calendaring)
Update on OSAF's CalDAV (Calendar extension for WebDAV) work. And note [Jeffrey Harris]' work on a PyThon VCard/VCal reader/writer.
Feb'2005 update - CalDAV wikipedia entry
Jan'2006 update - using SunBird now, and the arrangement isn't so bad.
