I bought a MacOsX IBook to replace my 5-yr-old [Sony Vaio] LapTop. Now you mac-heads have to tell me which apps to use - see my list of Ms Windows apps. And how best to migrate data - cross-over Ethernet cable? Is Win98 file sharing going to work, or do I need to bring up an FTP server on one of the machines?
By the way, I was about to order through [CDW], but decided to go with Small Retail and buy from the [Digital Society] store a couple blocks away. Costs me 10%+ extra, but...
