My anti-Pod Casting rant Of The Day:

Dave Winer, as part of an anti-GooGle [Auto Link] rant, notes The geeks at Google have figured out how to put ads everywhere, even inside other people's web pages; we are starting up a new medium, podcasting, that's immune to their devilish trickery! There are no links in podcasts. Yes, that's one thing that sucks about them.
alternative idea for filling your dead passive-listening time - have software to generate speech from RSS and make that into an MP3 file
I can see Pod Casting as making sense in the Live Journal space - Famous For Fifteen People, something to attach to your latest cat picture.
