The [PalmOne] [Life Drive] looks semi-cool, but (a) does anyone really want to live without a Key Board, and (b) are the power hassles really worth the Hard Drive?
I'm hoping that these Cell Phone/PDA devices, as execs try to deal with attachments, will cause everyone to finally get sick of Ms Office and it's file (and app) bloat. So that there can be tiny simple office apps that are sufficient for how most people actually use them, and the files are small and use Open Formats so they can be shared across a wide range of non-Micro Soft devices... But combining these functions into an Mp3 Player muddies that water, since media files are even bigger than office docs...
