programs will have a single standardized application process... Officials say the new admission policy is an effort to bring equity and transparency in admissions to a hodgepodge of gifted programs that have existed in certain parts of the city for years and have been lightning rods for criticism and controversy. Thank goodness they're protecting us from decentralized decisionmaking.
