on the apparent increase in interest in use. Ideally, I'd like to see offline operation as just an extension of the model. That way, you don't have to buy into someone's application framework to get offline; you just have to get the user to upgrade their browser. A commenter points to the [Mouse Hole] app which sounds very interesting (, ).
