A interview mentions the Democracy video platform from - , , and [VLC] all integrated. Looks very cool...

Sept'2007 update: Democracy was renamed to [MiRo] sometime. This [Chris Soghoian] article shows how you can use it to subscribe to a show and automatically/illegally download every new episode right after it airs.
