On the Fourth Of July, Jimmy Wales launched [Campaigns Wikia], a WiKi designed to somehow improve Political Engagement. (Part of WikIa)
He seems to think issues can be discussed from a Neutral Point Of View, which seem unrealistic.
The Email List has lots of meta-discussion of what the heck the point is. Wales just replied: What I am interested in us doing is figuring out how to go out
and actually get the campaigns themselves involved in using wikis for
organization, etc. To actually take seriously the new tools. Us discussing politics and doing a voter guide and that sort of thing
are great in a way, too, of course. But what I really want to see us
putting at least a big portion of our effort into is forcing campaigns
to take notice.
