James Bennett on why he believes a [MarkUp]-oriented Template System (like in DjanGo) makes more sense than generating [MarkUp] directly from code. Lately I've been feeling disagreement with this.
Jeffrey P Shell falls more into the anti-template camp. And discusses his new interest in Prototype Based programming.
Nov16: James Bennett notes that, at least in DjanGo, you can get a lot from "generic views" by calling such views from wrapper functions, filter functions, etc. I think our Quiet Care views are often too messy for this kind of work, but I'll keep it in mind - maybe it's just about calling multiple generic views on a page (because we often have multiple sections for related chunks of data).
