[Charles River Ventures] is trying a new VC model based on loans that can convert to equity.
Fred Wilson thinks their deal is fair, comparable to Angel Capital, but doesn't consider the model a good fit for his shop. See also [Matt Marshall] and [Josh Kopelman]. And also Tom Evslin. An Incubat Or?
