[Jon Canfield] projects the "true" cost of the OLPC. I think the Inter Net access cost is pretty bogus (it depends a lot on how the systems are used), and the training could probably be scaled very differently with an Open Distribution sort of model. Though, the "push" mentality of the project does have the potential to burn a lot of resources.
