YaHoo released Yahoo Pipes today, which provides a Pipe Line processor for RSS/Atom Standards feeds. Is this kind of model key to the Attention Management tweaking of the Universal Inbox?
Niall Kennedy gives some details.
Mark Nottingham thinks it's going to be a big wake-up call for the "Enter Prise" software industry.
I Commented to ask whether Pipes recognizes Micro Format-s.
A comment on Tim O Reilly's coverage notes the existing of [RssBus].
DonPark doesn't see this benefiting YaHoo in the end (because it will be too expensive to run - Scalabil Ity).
Jon Udell loves the idea. ReST, Micro Format, Tagson Omy, etc.
Alex Iskold compares it to the Relational Data Base. It is the first GUI builder for the biggest database in the world, the Web itself. (shades of Semantic Web)
