A foiled plot to bomb fuel tanks and a pipeline at New York's () John F. Kennedy () International Airport would have wrought "unthinkable" destruction, a official said... The plot was hatched in January 2006 in New York and involved Muslim extremists from Guyana and Trinidad, officials said. It was broken up while still in the planning stages with the aid of an informant, said Mark Mershon, head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's () New York office.
