NYC will have a StartUp BarCamp Oct22-23 (that's M/T, not a weekend). (Live Event)
Update: I'm here. First half-day ("University") smells like sponsor pitches.
End-of-day: the Un Conference bits aren't doing it for me. Maybe if I were in the early-StartUp-building phase, and had some specific itches to scratch, it would work for me. But lacking that, the discussions seem too vague to me to be either useful or interesting. Leaving my [Intro Vert] tendences unchecked. I'd rather be at a real tech-driven BarCamp where there's stuff to look at. Maybe I'll go to work, but head over for the [Speed Geeking]? Doesn't seem too likely, given the location not being super convenient from the office...
