While it was stalled for months by troubles with its original vendor of choice, the massive PHR project backed by the likes of WalMart, ATT, [Sanofi Aventis] and Intel is back underway again. The [DossIa] Consortium has hired the Children's Hospital Informatics Program at Children's Hospital Boston to take over development of the PHR, which will link hospital, physician and pharmacy data for millions of employees. [CHIP] had previously developed [IndiVo], a personally controlled health record, with grants from the [CDC] and National Library of Medicine ([NLM]).
