It sounds like there won't be a single , but rather an (based on ) plus applications for devices created by for anyone to use without licensing fees. Google is expected to unveil the fruit of its mobile efforts later this year, and phones based on its technology could be available next year.

Oct19 update: more speculations, with more emphasis on the idea of -support calls.
