Les Orchard makes me feel bad about not following the TwittEr mojo. I read most often via RSS/Blog Lines, secondarily via TwittEr home page.

I now set up my GAim to receive tweets. We'll see whether that's too annoying. (Am I going to miss real IM-s from co-workers because I pay less attention to GAim?)

And I can't seem to get into the habit of writing tweets frequently. Oh, the shame....

• GAim is too intrusive, causing me to disconnect from GTalk completely.

  • but I still get the tweets in the GMail browser pop-out.

  • interestingly, when GAim restarts and auto-connects to GTalk, it dumps the whole backlog at me!

  • (this scenario points at the need for much better Instant Messaging clients with granular controls)
