Jerry Michalski gave a demo of his use of The Brain after a full 10 years of use, 80k nodes!

easy [Type Ahead] of any word in any node name: for generating links to existing nodes
visual (used to use EccoPro but frustrated by its non-visual nature)
he keeps his Calen Dar in there (at least for conferences he's attending)
seems to use Types (of nodes, links)
no "edge of the page" (vs MindMap)
during YiTan calls he keeps notes with pen/paper, does not use his Brain
works in many WiKi spaces with people, frustrated at inability to search across them (esp since password controlled) (Multiple Thinking Spaces)

questions I didn't get answered yet

how use MobIle? What about when LapTop isn't convenient?
does he put his whole Calen Dar in there?
has he tried Tinder Box?
