[Continuum Books] has a "33-1/3" series of books, each about a single music album. $10 for a tiny paperback. Seems overpriced, but if there's an album you really care about, I can definitely see getting that book.
No Frank Zappa! But yes [Trout Mask Replica] by [Captain Beefheart] (I prefer the Fast N Bulbous versions).
