The FISA Amendments Act of 2008 was passed by the Us Congress.
It includes immunity for the TelCo-s who cooperated with the illegal WireTap requests of the White House.
RonPaul and others have joined to create an [Accountability Now] [PAC] to go after congress-critters who supported this.
A summary of the changes. It Eliminates the requirement that there be probable cause that a foreign target is a suspect of any kind... It eliminates of the need to specify a particular email address or phone number to be wiretapped.
