GooGle has announced its own Google Chrome Web Browser, based on both MozIlla and WebKit.

At least Google renewed it's financial arrangement with MozIlla last week, through Nov'2011.

A EULA nightmare.

update: they're going to fix that.

David Berlind thinks the bundling of Google Gears is significant, esp to the MobIle/AnDroid market.

Build with Google App Engine, use in Chrome on desktop or MobIle, go offline with Google Gears. Not a bad strategy.
