Time to download an EBook reader for the Nokia N810. I was using [Just Reader] on the Sharp Zaurus, but that's available only for the Zaurus, apparently.
So it looks like F B Reader is the default choice.
(I almost always stick with HTML files. A reader app's main value, compared to the Web Browser, is not forcing the whole document into memory, and remembering my last location when I close and re-open the book.)
