[Global Sensemaking] is coordinating an [ESSENCE] process of Dia Logue about Climate Change (and will get involved in other WickEd Problem-s later)... building towards the [ESSENCE] conference in the Spring of 2009 - a unique, Collective Intelligence event designed to inform the national and global policy choices made at United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December 2009.
[ESSENCE] was conceived by Simon Buckingham Shum, an argument mapping researcher at the [Knowledge Media Institute] (Open University, UK), and David Price, a social entrepreneur and co-founder of the Debate Graph argument mapping website.
Tools will include Compend Ium, Debate Graph, Del Icio Us, DiiGo, CoHere, Wiki Pedia, and others.
