Thought Of The Day (re Reputation Management, WebLog, Intellectual Property...) When referring to a document published by a non-personal news source (e.g. newspaper, or even group weblog), credit the human being who wrote the article. I think we should stop pretending that the Ny Times defines a standard of quality transcending the individual reporters. (If you think the publication is relevant in terms of "here's what the people who consume that channel are hearing", then quote the publication and the writer.) This might also (a) improve the feedback loop by tracking quality of work by individuals, and (b) Dis-intermediate publishers...
