Had a pile of pointless traffic the other day (Machines Hitting My Server), driven by someone's stupid spider. Presenting a number of User Agent values (mainly 'Winamp M P E G'), all driven by a spider toolkit named "larbin", 7677 hits coming from IP# '209.126.176.3'. It looks like I'm not the only "victim", and it looks like it won't be an issue anymore. Still, I added it to my robots.txt file. And took a look at my log summary for other possibilities - I considered locking out the French Voila search engine, but decided to let them in. So no other changes for now...
