(2003-02-24) Idea Graph Jem Blog

Danny Ayers of Idea Graph announces Jem Blog (Jena Semantic WebLog Server), using Java and RDF. On Marc Canter's blog he commented (to this ): In this post you mention several different kinds of data - regular blogging, identity stuff, fotolog, creative commons and open conversations. You also mention uniting disparate systems. Well it's exactly this kind of situation in which Jem Blog (or other RDF system) can help. The metadata from each of these different domains could be retained in your personal Jem Blog server, allowing you to present a unified face to the world. The same framework can be used for all the different kinds of content, just by plugging in the appropriate vocabularies.
