(2003-04-23) Mozilla Email Bug

While I try and find some info out there, I'll report here a bug I've had with Mozilla - it's still here in v1.3 (on Win98). I can't view a stinking EMail (IMAP) message body! I can view it in the preview pane, but when I open it in its own window I get an empty window.

• It almost seems like the message isn't getting retrieved, because the Stop button is active, but others (like View/messageSource, etc.) are not. View/messageSource works fine from the multi-pane view, just not from the empty single-message window.

• It seems to happen with very simple short PlainText messages as well, not just HtmlEmail, attachments, etc. - I can't find a single message which I can open

• This applies to messages I have sent as well (which are in my local Sent folder).

• I can usually live with this, but I can't get at attachments! I end up forwarding such messages to my Yahoo account (I see the body and attachments in my Forward message, but can't save out the Attachments). (I've tried the File/Attachments/saveAll menu, but that gives me an error message.)

It looks like this bug... yup the fix worked.
