(2003-05-21) Annoyances

Annoyances Of The Day:

• spam messages that are 130kb+. What the heck are they doing? (Not a huge deal for me, but if you get 4 in one day it can fill up your Yahoo mail box.)

• false WebLog update pings. Mark Bernstein (pushing from TinderBox?)

• blogs that don't ping at all. Robot Wisdom, Hypertext Kitchen, Peter Kaminski (hey, it's easy to do this manually)

• slow WebLog pages because of includes from other sites for counts of comments, etc.
