(2003-10-01) RSS Data Allaire

Jeremy Allaire recommends Rss Data as an RSS variant for syndicating structured data. Interestingly, if you subtract the message envelope from XmlRpc, add UniCode and time-zone support to the standard, you've actually got WDDX, quite literally. Dave Winer really liked the idea, and we came up with the idea of RSS-Data.

Update: responses to comments. I'm believing more and more than the idea of the small/lite RssAggregator is going away, to be subsumed into a richer Universal Toolbox.
